NHS Patients – do you qualify?

NHS funded eye examinations are available for all eligible patients. These eye tests are usually available every two years, however, if you meet certain eye health criteria you may be entitled to more frequent testing.

In addition, you may be eligible for funding towards the cost of your spectacles or contact lenses.  If you are unsure please ask us during your next appointment.

  • Income Support
  • Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
  • Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
  • Pension Credit Guarantee Credit
  • Universal Credit and meet the criteria – Read more

Or if you are named on a valid NHS tax credit exemption certificate (you qualify if you get Child Tax Credits, Working Tax Credits with a disability element (or both), and have income for tax credit purposes of £15,276 or less)

Or if you are named on a valid NHS certificate for full help with health costs (HC2)

You may also qualify if you are named on a valid NHS certificate for partial help with health costs (HC3)
